FAQ

I'm nervous...is that normal?

Absolutely! In fact, I'd be more surprised if you weren't a little nervous!

Most of the women who walk into my studio have never done anything like this before. You don't need to show up feeling confident or knowing exactly what you're doing. That's my job!

We'll chat, laugh, put on some music, and take things at your pace. My goal is for you to leave wondering why you were ever nervous in the first place.

Do I need experience in front of the camera?

Not even a little bit! You don't need modeling experience or any idea what to do in front of a camera.

I'll guide you through everything, from where to put your hands to the tiniest adjustments that make all the difference. You just need to show up and be yourself. I'll take care of the rest!

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel like YOU!

Lingerie is always an option, but it's definitely not a requirement. An oversized sweater, your favorite bodysuit, a simple white sheet, or something a little more daring can all photograph beautifully.

You don't need to go out and spend a fortune on outfits. I'm always happy to help you figure out what to bring before your session!

Will my images be shared?

Your privacy matters, period.

Boudoir is an incredibly personal experience, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing exactly how your images will be handled.

Your images will never be shared on my website, social media, or anywhere else without your explicit permission. You are always in control of whether your images are shared.

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Yes! Professional hair and makeup is included in The Experience Collection. Professional hair and makeup can be added to your boudoir experience!

Whether you want to go all out with a little extra glam or keep things soft and natural, the choice is entirely yours. You're also more than welcome to arrive with your hair and makeup already done.

Where do your boudoir sessions take place?

My boudoir sessions take place in a private studio in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

It's a space where you can relax, feel comfortable, and have an experience that's entirely about you. Whether this is your first boudoir session or your fifth, you're welcome exactly as you are!
