Hi, I'm Lauren!

I am so glad you're here!

I'm a Michigan wedding photographer based in Grand Rapids, photographing couples who care more about how their wedding felt than how it looked.

The camera is only part of my job.

I'm the one fixing your dress, pinning the boutonniere that won't cooperate, carrying tissues, calming nerves, making your family laugh, and quietly keeping everything moving so you can actually enjoy your day.

The best photographs happen when you're busy living the moment.

The Stuff you actually want to know

  • I’m technically a terrible wedding photographer because I eloped. Bought the dress, flew 1,600 miles Glacier National Park. didn't tell anyone, hired an incredible photographer, and I'd do it exactly the same way again.

  • I get embarrassingly excited when couples include their dogs on their wedding day.

  • I read constantly. My TBR is out of control and BookTok is entirely to blame.

  • This is a one-woman business. When you inquire, email, meet, and celebrate your wedding day with me, it's me every step of the way.

  • I’m deeply emotional and will almost certianly cry during your vows. I consider this a built-in quality check, not a weakness.

Photography is a huge part of my life.

It just isn't my whole life.

When I'm not photographing weddings you'll probably find me hiking with Rebel, tending to my ever growing lavender garden, training at the gym or Jiu-Jitsu, getting lost in a really good book, planning our next road trip, or convincing my wife that one more houseplant is absolutely necessary.

The better my own life feels, the better I show up for yours.

I take my work seriously.

I don't take myself too seriously.

I'll absolutely help fluff your dress, keep family photos moving, remind you to eat something, and make sure you're never wondering what comes next.

Then I'll step back and let your wedding unfold exactly the way it was meant to.

If you're planning a wedding that feels intentional, personal, and true to who you are, I'd love to hear your story.
