Port 393 Wedding Photographer | Holland, Michigan Wedding
Nate and Jenna’s wedding day at Port 393 in Holland, Michigan was the perfect mix of intentional moments, effortless style, and a celebration that felt completely like them from start to finish.
I’m a Michigan wedding photographer capturing weddings at venues like Port 393 along the lakeshore and throughout West Michigan. This space is one of my favorites for its clean, modern design, incredible natural light, and the way it allows couples to create a wedding day that feels both elevated and relaxed.
Getting Ready in Holland, Michigan
The day began with a calm, steady energy as Nate and Jenna got ready surrounded by their closest people. There was no rush, no chaos, just anticipation and the kind of quiet excitement that builds before everything begins.
Their dog being part of the day made everything feel even more personal. From the start, it was clear this wasn’t just about a timeline. It was about creating a day that actually reflected their life together.
Private Rooftop Vows | Port 393 Wedding
Before the ceremony, Nate and Jenna chose to share private vows on a rooftop overlooking downtown Holland. It was one of the most meaningful parts of the entire day.
It was quiet, emotional, and completely uninterrupted.
As a Port 393 wedding photographer, these are the moments I always encourage when couples want space to slow down and actually be present together. No audience, no pressure, just the two of them reading words they had written for each other and taking it all in.
Holland Gravel Pit Wedding Portraits
After their private vows, we made our way to the Holland gravel pits for couples portraits. This part of the day felt completely different in the best way.
The open landscape, soft textures, and neutral tones created a setting that felt both editorial and natural at the same time. It is one of the most unique portrait locations in West Michigan and it gave Nate and Jenna space to move, laugh, and just be themselves without anything feeling forced.
For couples planning a Holland, Michigan wedding, stepping away for portraits like this adds a completely different dimension to your gallery.
Port 393 Wedding Ceremony | Holland, Michigan
Back at Port 393, guests gathered for a ceremony that felt both elevated and relaxed. The space itself does a lot of the work. Clean lines, natural light, and a layout that allows everything to flow effortlessly.
As Nate and Jenna stood together in front of their family and friends, you could feel how grounded and genuine their connection is. It wasn’t overdone or performative. It was just real.
Port 393 Wedding Reception
The celebration carried straight into the reception, where the energy shifted into something more lively and celebratory.
Port 393 is one of the best reception spaces in Holland for a reason. It allows for movement, connection, and a packed dance floor without ever feeling overwhelming. The entire evening felt intentional, joyful, and completely true to who Nate and Jenna are.
A Wedding That Felt Like Them
From private rooftop vows to portraits at the gravel pits and a full celebration at Port 393, every part of Nate and Jenna’s wedding day was built around what mattered most to them.
No unnecessary pressure. No forced moments. Just a day that felt real.
