The Process:
Begin by building your custom collection or selecting a curated option. This helps to give me create your vision, understand your priorities, and learn what matters most for your day.
I’ll personally review your selections and reach out to walk through everything with you - adjusting coverage, answering questions, and making sure it all fits seamlessly. This can be done over text, email, call/Zoom or in-person.
On your wedding day, I’ll be there to guide you when needed while keeping things natural, intentional, and true to how your day actually feels.
Then you’ll receive your fully edited gallery to relive all the most amazing moments of your day!

What is your photography style?
As a Michigan wedding photographer, my style is rooted in candid, documentary-style storytelling. I focus on capturing real emotions, unforced moments, and the genuine connection between you and your loved ones. You won’t find stiff poses here - just honest, heartfelt images that reflect your day as it truly felt.
I'm super awkward and not photogenic—help!
This is exactly why choosing the right photographer matters. I hear this all the time, and trust me - you are not awkward or unphotogenic. You just haven’t had the right person behind the camera yet.
My sessions are laid-back, fun, and totally unforced. I’ll guide you gently, help you relax, and by the end it’ll feel like hanging out with a friend. Many of my couples tell me their session didn’t feel like a photoshoot at all and that’s exactly the goal.
Can we set up a meeting?
Absolutely! I ask that all couples getting married in Michigan meet with me before booking. Whether you're planning your wedding in Detroit, Grand Rapids, or anywhere in between, it's so important to connect with the person who’ll be capturing your memories. We can meet for coffee, hop on a phone call, or set up a video chat - whichever feels right for you.
How long until we get our photos back, and how many will we receive?
For weddings, you'll receive a sneak peek within a week and your full gallery within 30–60 days. Engagement and lifestyle sessions are typically delivered within 1–3 weeks.
While I don’t guarantee an exact number of images, I intentionally and thoughtfully cull every gallery to tell your story in the most meaningful and intimate way without unnecessary fluff. You’ll get all the best final images, carefully hand-edited and ready to relive.
Do you only photograph weddings?
Not at all.
While weddings are a big part of what I do, I also photograph elopements, couples, lifestyle and boudoir sessions. If you’re looking for something a little different, I’m always open to hearing your vision.
Have you photographed at my venue?
Chances are, yes! With 75+ weddings photographed, I’m familiar with many popular Detroit wedding venues, Grand Rapids venues, and other locations across Michigan. If I haven’t been to your venue yet, don’t worry—I’ll scout it ahead of time so I’m fully prepared to capture it beautifully. I believe magic can happen anywhere, and I bring that mindset to every wedding I photograph.
Do you travel?
